Growing up in my mother’s beauty salon in New Jersey, watching the same women come in and out of the salon every week, I never thought about how my mom had and still has the greatest job... read more on earth. But now, after 24 years, I know I do have the greatest job on earth. I have always loved every year of doing hair, I do not recall any day that I didn't want to go to work. Being able to make people look good and feel great in an hour or 2 is a pretty amazing thing to be able to do. Plus, building friendships with every guest I have makes each day a joy. I do treasure the friends that I have made over all these years, they truly are like family to me and I thank every one of them for letting me be the one to care for their hair needs.

For the past 6 years I have been an educator for Surface Hair. The tools and skills that Surface and Wayne Grund, the founder of Surface, have given me are priceless. At a time when many stylists become complacent, I found Surface which refueled the flame inside me to be the best that I can be. I not only educate other stylists, but my guests as well. I want you to know exactly what I’m doing for you and with you every step of the way. One phrase from Surface is Beauty with a Conscience and I stand behind that one all the way. Going to bed with joy in my heart and peace in my mind keeps this hairdresser a happy girl.

Giving back is another thing that makes me happy. I have started a food drive at the salon that goes on all the time. Give and You Shall Receive, bring any non-perishable food item and receive 10% off your favorite Surface product. A full bag or two will get you 20% off. It is wonderful to see all the food that people bring in that goes to the local food bank. Also, once a month, a few coworkers and I cut hair for the homeless in St Johns County at Home Again. Being able to give a haircut to someone who really needs one may seem like a small thing, but it makes a big difference. And the thing that is closest to my heart is Haiti. I go to Haiti about 3 times a year to an orphanage in Leagone where I sponsor Tony, a 13 year old boy. Having the clientele and the career that I have grown over the past 24 years gives me the means to help the children at All Things New orphanage. They have really touched my heart. It is fun to see how excited my guests are when they know I'm going.

When I’m not in the salon, I’m probably in a car line at school. I have two boys, 14 and 8, and they keep me busy. I also l love to get away, a quick trip or a long one to disconnect really recharges me.

I love Surface’s Bassu Oil, it is the foundation for healthy hair and I use it on every single guest. My second favorite thing is Schwarzkopf's 10 min color, I have a busy clientele and getting their roots covered up fast is great. And I love sweet treats, on a busy day they definitely help push me though.

I love to sing! In fact, I have the privilege of serving on the vocal team at Christ’s Church. I also love, adventure. I can frequently be found at Universal Studios with my girlfriend, Kat. My animals are my children. I currently have one 11 year old Shetland Sheep Dog and an annoying cat (I secretly love). Stop in and see one of my awesome graphic tees.

I sponsor a little boy in Haiti named Tony. He holds a special place in my heart! One weekend a month, you’ll find me at a local homeless shelter cutting hair for our homeless citizens. Every February, at Christ’s Church we hold a Prom for the special needs community. This is a highlight of the year and I love doing their hair and dancing the night away with these sweet people.

Product wise; I love our bassu oil. It adds moisture and shine, while protecting your color without weighing your hair down.

What do I do? I don’t just DO hair. My job is to listen, give feedback, and ultimately bring out a client’s inner beauty and confidence with every appointment. Helping to facilitate their hair goals to life, I couldn’t enjoy it more. ... read more I have just recently made Salon 210 my home and I could not be happier about it. This salon, this environment is so comfy and welcoming, as are all the stylists! I’ve been in the industry working behind the chair since 2010. It’s hard to narrow down what I’m most passionate about because I truly pride myself in being a well-rounded stylist, always working hard to give amazing technical skills as well as great customer service! When not in the salon, my family occupies all my time. My husband, Zack, and I have two little girls: Harley, 5, and Zoey, 1. We also have a fur baby, our puppy Tango. We enjoy family time at the pool, beach, or relaxing at home. My other interests are crafting and finding DIY projects to get my hands on. Music is a second love, I’ve always had a passion for it. I’ve always said, “Music feeds my soul,” so something is always playing and, if I know the lyrics, I’m singing along.
